To me, this parade was successful. It was everyone's hard work in brushing up on their drills, trying to co-operate with the CIs and fellow contingent mates that made this parade a success. It was a really difficult task to complete as everyone was from different units and every unit operates differently. However after much training, new friendships were forged and it didn't stop there. These friendships were really strong as everyone been through thick and thin together as a contingent under the strict guidance of the Cls. However, despite the hard trainings be it under the sun or in the shade, it was a veryenriching experience for me. The CIs were always there to guide me so as to improve my drills, be it foot drills or rifle drills. I really enjoyed this opportunity that was given to me.
